Mission Statement
West Lynchburg Baptist Church's
Women's Ministry
is designed to provide a solid network of support for women through fellowship, Bible study, spiritual growth, mentoring and encouragement.
 
 
 The ministry will grow and build as needs change. 
 
 
          Encourage...women to know and follow Jesus Christ in their 
               daily lives
 
 
          Equip...women to grow in their relationship with Christ through 
               prayer, Bible study and discipleship
 
 
          Empower...women to go and use their spiritual gifts to serve 
               and reach others for Christ locally and globally
 

 

Women's Bible Study: 

 

Begins JUNE 16, 6PM (Thursday’s)

Duty or Delight?  Knowing Where You Stand with God

A women’s Bible study with six weeks of study.

Author Tammie Head leads you on a journey of taking your relationship with God from a duty to a delight.

"God is not looking for us to perform for Him, He’s looking for us to delight in Him. Many of us hit invisible barriers when we seek the Lord"

JOIN US as we discover that there’s way more to Christ than keeping all the spiritual boxes checked.

New Sunday School Small Group for Younger Women!

     If you are a woman in your 20s-40s who is single, divorced, or widowed, or if you are married but your husband is either not involved in Sunday School or is serving in another group, you are invited to study the Bible with other young women as part of a brand new Sunday School group led by Rhonda Evans. This new group meets on the second floor of the WLBC Education Building as part of the Adult II Department.  For more information, contact the WLBC office
